Join us in Connecticut for the Spring Meeting & Exhibit!
June 5-8, 2016 • Groton, CT
NEWEA’s Spring Meeting & Exhibit is an annual three-day technical meeting for water quality professionals in the wastewater industry.
- Network with colleagues
- Learn the latest trends in technical sessions
- See the latest technologies from exhibitors
- Tour a wastewater treatment plant
- Earn Training Contact Hours (TCHs)
This year’s meeting will be held jointly with the New York Water Environmental Association (NYWEA) and the theme “Environmental Stewardship in the 21st Century” focuses on the wastewater/water resource recovery industry’s role as environmentalists. We are working to shift perception of our industry from one that is “dirty”, to one that is continuing our history of effecting tremendous water quality and public health gains while leading advances in sustainability.
Another highlight of the meeting is the annual Operations Challenge competition. Teams of four members compete in five separate events: operations, maintenance, laboratory, safety, and collection systems. This year, we expect to have over eight teams competing. The top teams will earn the right to to compete at the national competition. Come and support your team!
We expected over 400 engineers, consultants, scientists, operators, and students to attend and participate in this joint three-day event.
We look forward to seeing you in Connecticut.
