The NEWEA Spring Meeting & Exhibit offers the following additional events and activities for attendees:

NEWEA YP Community Service Project: Saturday, June 2; 7:30am-4pm
Working with ERICD, the NEWEA YPs are organizing the first community service
project in conjunction with the Spring Meeting. The project is to install green
infrastructure BMPs on private and town properties as part of the “Soak Up the
Rain” program grant. ERICD will provide materials and tools for the workforce, and we will end the day with a BBQ to thank the volunteers. Rain Date: Sunday June 3rd Download Registration PDF >>

President’s Reception: Sunday, June 3; 6:00pm
Join NEWEA’s President Janine Burke-Wells for a networking reception to kick off the Spring Meeting & Exhibit.  All registered attendees are welcome to attend.

Opening Session & Breakfast:  Monday, June 4, 8:00am

Program for Spouses/Guests: 
This program is reserved for a spouse or guest of registrant NOT involved in the water/wastewater field.

Operations Challenge Competition:  Tuesday, June 5, 9:00am – 4:00pm
Operators from across New England will compete in five categories.  The top teams will be sent to compete in the national competition during WEFTEC in Chicago, IL in September.  Come and watch the best wastewater collection and treatment personnel display their skills.  Separate registration required. Ops Challenge Awards Ceremony: Tuesday, June 5, 4:00-5:00pm
All registered attendees are welcome to the awards ceremony.  Show your support for Operations Challenge and see which teams take home a trophy.

Reception & Dinner:  Tuesday, June 5, 6:30pm
